For a limited time, a bonus disk was available with the release of Mario Kart: Double Dash!!*
On it contained various demos for upcoming releases. Also on this disk was a option to link up to Fire Emblem, by doing so you will unlock some items only available from the bonus disk.
During link-up you will unlock the secret secret soundtracks 99 and 100.
* Bonus disk was only available in America

How to Link up

In order to link up you will need a GBA-GC link up cable, load the game and select the fire emblem option, from here follow the on screen instructions.
On your Fire Emblem game got the Extras menu, and select "Transfer data", pick a save file, then choose either to send the items to Merlinus or one of the Lords.
Only you can transfer each item once to a single save file, however you can send them to all 3 save files if you wish.
